Where did it all begin?
My earliest memory of the spiritual world would have to be when I was about 5 years old. I remember being in the car with my mom and asking her why was everyone different colours? It wasn’t until years later, did I learn that it was my natural ability to see auras.
It wasn’t until I found out that my Aunty Jenny was a Medium, did I feel like I wasn’t alone in the world. She taught me many lessons that I still use today on how to harness this ability and protect myself against negativity. She had even named my school bully by name and had warned me that one day, in the early hours of the morning when nobody was around, he and a few of his friends were going to come and look for a fight with me. At this point, nobody knew I was being bullied. Just as she said, this came true.
I had 2 families growing up as the result of my parents getting divorced when I was 2 years old. On my mother’s side of the family, they were very supportive and encouraged my spiritual journey. On my father’s side, they were very religious and were not quite as open.
As most young boys do, I conformed to try and win my father’s approval and so I made sure that I attended church every time I was with him and even helped out in church services. Between trying to win my father’s approval and being bullied at school for being ‘’sensitive’’, I slowly started to block my spirituality and become very lost.
I spent the next couple of years trying to conform to what everyone else thought I should be. This led me to studying Business Management in University and taking a job from my step-father as a welding inspector for his company.
I still felt the calling from the spiritual world, so I took a Numerology course because although it was still spiritual, it involved numbers and maths which made me think that it was still ‘’acceptable’’. This naturally opened the door for me to learn Tarot, colour therapy, Reiki and Family Constellations.
These courses helped me to understand that it is okay to be ME, and now I am in a position where I am able to have my own practice where I can help guide and encourage others on their spiritual journey.
